Pažinome Juodkrantę – unikalią pajūrio gyvenvietę

Gimnazijos mokiniai dėl COVID-19 grėsmės negalėdami keliauti ir aplankyti Kuršių nerijos, kuri yra įtraukta į UNESCO Pasaulio paveldą,  rinko nuotraukas, kūrė dėliones, skaitė informaciją ir parengė aprašymus.

Pažinome Juodkrantę – unikalią pajūrio gyvenvietę

Gimnazijos mokiniai ir mokytojai – tarptautinio projekto „Finding European ldentity through lntercultural dialogue between European Citizens“ /,,Europos tapatybės nustatymas per Europos piliečių švietimą ir kultūrų dialogą“ dalyviai – neturėdami galimybės vykdyti projekto programos ,,gyvai”, surengė virtualią kelionę po Juodkrantę. Gėrėdamiesi šiuo unikaliu UNESCO paveldo objektu, ne tik daug skaitė, stebėjo ir analizavo vaizdus, bet ir sukūrė dėliones.

Rašytiniuose istorijos šaltiniuose Juodkrantė – pajūrio gyvenvientė, minima nuo 1429 m., tačiau tuomet ji buvusi šiek tiek arčiau Baltijos jūros. Tai puikus centras keliauti visomis kryptimis: visai čia pat Kuršių marios su romantiška krantine, pusvalandis lengvu žingsniu iki Baltijos jūros su puikiu tvarkingu paplūdimiu, greitas susisiekimas su Nida ir Klaipėda. Kultūros mėgėjus Juodkrantė traukia Raganų kalno medinių liaudies skulptūrų ekspozicija, Akmens skulptūrų parku „Žemė ir vanduo”, Lietuvos Dailės muziejaus parodų sale, Juodkrantės parodų namais. Evangelikų liuteronų bažnyčia.

Dviračių takai, puiki, tvarkinga aplinka, galimybė mėgautis ilgais pasivaikščiojimais, ramybė, puikus Raganų kalno parkas, nemažas kavinių pasirinkimas – yra viskas, ko reikia poilsiui.

Amber Bay in Juodkrante

Amber Bay is a small Curonian Lagoon bay, found in the northern part of Juodkrantė. Its name is very closely related with digging amber. In 1855 the lagoon waterway was deepened for ferries and ships to arrive and in the course of the work, samples of amber were found.Amber excavations had a direct effect on the growth of the settlement.

The Sun Clock -calendarin Nida.    The Parnidis Dune, rising up to 53 meters high, is decorated with a sundial-calendar. This unique Sun Clockwas built in 1995. It serves not only as a clock, but the obelisk is carved with runic characters and public holiday icons. There are four sculptural images for the spring and autumn equinoxes and summer and winter solstices arranged on each side of the platform.

The Curonian Spit is a long, thin, curved sand-dune spit that separates the Curonian Lagoon from the Baltic Sea coast. It is a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 2000.The northern part of the Curonian Spit peninsula belongs to Lithuania, while the rest is part of the Kaliningrad Oblast, Russia.There is a single road that traverses the whole length of the Curonian Spit.

Juodkrante.Stone Sculpture Park. The sculptures are arranged under the open sky. The exposition was created during an international symposium of sculptors Žemė ir vanduo (Land and Water) In 1997, instead of the former reeds, a quay of one and a half kilometers was installed, repeating the contours of the lagoon. Now there are beautiful lawns, hiking and cycling trails.

Nida.The Ethnographic Fisherman’s Homestead in Nida, which is typical in the Curonian Spit, is situated on the shore of the lagoon in the southern part of old Nida, in the former village of Haken (part of the village on the cape in the lagoon).The farmstead was built by local craftsmen in 1927. In the house on the side of the lagoon there is an exposition, which introduces the typical interior and household of the Curonian Spit fishermen’s houseof the 19th and 20th centuries.

Nida Lighthouse (or Urbo Hill Lighthouse) is a navigation sign located on the Curonian Spit in Nida, 900 meters from the Baltic Sea on Urbo Hill. Altitude – 79 m above sea level. The signal is visible beyond 22 nautical miles (about 40 kilometers).
